• got up around 7:30 and hauled the garbage out
• got girls a mango and got in shower
• got out of shower and girls got in shower
• fixed self breakfast and girls snacks
• got girls out of tub and dressed

• woke up at 7:45:P
• got showered and dressed and fixed everyone breakfast
• yelled and screamed for half an hour while kids did not get ready to go
• got DD2 to school late
  
• took DD1 to mall only to discover that she couldn't buy anything for a dollar (duh)

• slept in until 7:20 (wahoo:P)
• got up and got girls a mango
• showered
• girls got in the bathtub
• I fixed some breakfast

• got up at 8 when DD2 came in and woke me up
• showered and futzed around; got in a fight with DD1:(
• made everyone toast
• sent girls to the bath (they were making a mess with water, I think
• got dishes unloaded and cleaned up in kitchen a little

I got two loads of laundry put away.  I got two loads of laundry in the washer and dryer.  And I cleaned the bathroom!!  We had a friend and her daughter over for dinner and had a lovely time.  We had Ceasar Salad and burritos and dh served a bunch of different desserts.  Yum!  All in all, a lovely day.  I cleaned up in the kitchen and now I'm ( Read more... )

• showered (heard desolate wailing while in shower and dealt with that after the shower)
• dealt with the breaking of the new piggy bank
• got oatmeal started
• made self and DD2 toast

We were busy today.  I made pork vindaloo which we thought turned out pretty well.  It took a long time to actually cook it, although to be honest, it seemed like most of that time was the time the onions were cooking (before I put it in the oven to cook for two hours, that is).

So, yesterday was an exciting day for us here.  The morning was pretty mellow; we got cleaned up and I'm sure the girls did bad things with regards to the guinea pig, but we overcame that challenge and all was good when the first friend arrived around 12:45.  We finished getting the table ready and then I got the dye ready.  Friend Two had arrived ( Read more... )
